A Berks County Coverlet
This Jacquard pattern coverlet is attributed to the shop of Henry Oberly, Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania due to the subject in the corner panels. Many Oberly coverlets are signed.
There is at least one other maker, Kiest, who used this pattern as well.
Made in two panels seamed in the middle. Wool and cotton in three colors. 94" long X 84" wide, in nearly new condition. Mid 19th century.
