A Finely Made Buttocks Basket

This basket was found in Southeastern Pennsylvania. It dates from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The nails appear to be machine headed and are not round.

The basket is in fine condition. It is 8" across at the handle and 8 1/2" long, 7 1/2" tall.
