An Unmarked Boston Flower Handle Porringer
This flower handle porringer is made in the mold used by the owner of the "stag" touch.
The stag with raised leg is found in the Green family crest. The Greens were pewterers in Boston in the 18th century.
This unmarked example was probably made at the turn of the 19th century as the handle is not planished.
5" in diameter, 7 1/8" overall length. In very good to fine condition with a fine linen mark
