A New England Boteh Handle Pewter Porringer - SOLD

Unmarked New England Boteh handle porringer. These Porringers are from the Boston Area and date from the late 18th to early 19th centuries. This porringer is in fine condition. The lathe marks show clearly on both the inner and outer surfaces. The face of the ear ( handle) and interior of the bowl show a faint pebbling which appears to be in the manufacturing. A fine example of a type of handle encountered less frequently. The bowl measures 4 15/16” in diameter.
