A Pewter Plate by Blakslee Barns - SOLD

Pewter Plate by Blakslee Barns, Philadelphia 1812-17. Barns produced plates dishes and basins, no hollowware is currently known by him.. He occupied a building in Philadelphia where Thomas Danforth III also had his shop. It appears these two men shared molds as items by them appear to have been cast in the same ones.
This plate is in very good condition and has nearly perfect touches.
