A Half Pint Export Double Volute Measure by William Fasson

William Fasson worked in London from 1758 -1800. He had a substantial export market to the Colonies and Later the United States. He apparently exported flatware and Measures.

This measure is in near fine condition, the touchmark is clearly struck to the right of the upper handle. There is an “A” stamped onto the top of the lid. This is possibly a New York Capacity Stamp.

The measure is 5 1/8” tall to the top of the thumbpiece. A nice example for a collector of measures.
