A Mint Condition Coronet Handle Pewter Porringer by Thomas & Sherman Boardman

A Mint Condition Coronet Handle Pewter Porringer by Thomas & Sherman Boardman

A Crown or Coronet handled (eared) porringer by Thomas Danforth Boardman and his Brother Sherman Boardman. This porringer is marked with their TD & SB rectangular touch on the shield on the front of the handle. This dates from 1810-30.

The bowl of this porringer measures 5” in diameter. The porringer is nearly new in condition with an fine linen mark. Maker signed minty porringers are becoming harder to find. A minty example of a Boardman coronet eared porringer difficult to improve upon

Price: $465
