A Fine Lighthouse Coffee Pot by Eben Smith - SOLD

This tall coffee pot by Eben Smith is of the finest lighthouse design with high round domed lid and gently tapered body. Constructed of sheet pewter metal it is the height of design for this type of pot.

This example measures 10” tall to the top of the finial. It has owner’s initials engraved on one side of the body. The pot is in overall very fine condition, with just a couple of small dents on the spout where it joins the body. The interior is free of pitting.

Smith worked in Beverly, Massachusetts from 1814-56. A desirable form by a very talented maker. (ON HOLD)
