An Export Pewter Cream Pot by Richard Pitt

This three footed Export Pewter cream pot was made by Richard Pitt of London. Pitt exported other forms including teapots and tankards. This cream pot is of the early style found in America. The spout is applied. Later design cream pots have the spout as in integral part of the upper body.

This creamer is in very good condition with good touches. There is some pitting to the inside bottom of the body.

Pitt worked in London from 1747-1797. This is a desirable form in Export Pewter.
