A Most Interesting Hiram Yale Lighthouse Coffeepot - SOLD

A Most Interesting Hiram Yale Lighthouse Coffeepot

A very fine light house coffeepot by Hiram Yale of Wallingford, CT.
Yale produced a variety of pewter items in Wallingford circa 1822-31. This coffeepot is undoubtedly from his early production as it is marked with his eagle touch. He later utilized a name touch and form a company with his brother, Charles.

This piece is of very solid manufacture, substantial casting along with quality finishing of a high-quality metal. This piece features its original rectangular bone button with grooved decoration. This is the first finial like this we have seen on a Yale piece.

The pot measures 10 ½” tall to the top of the finial.
