A Truncated Light House Form American Pewter Teapot by Morey & Ober - SOLD

Morey & Ober produced pewter in Boston from 1852-1855 Their designs followed the styles being produced by other mid 19th century pewterers. Gothic angular designs were the style of the day.

The firm used quality metal and all components were made of castings. The workmanship and finish qualities were on par with other makers of the period.

This teapot is in fine condition with a mint touchmark. The pot measures 7 1/8" tall to the top of the finial.
