A Pair of Antique American Pewter Candlesticks by Freeman Porter - SOLD
Freeman Porter worked in Westbrook, ME from 1835-1860's. Porter made a variety of pewter wares including tea and coffeepots, water pitchers, lamps and candlesticks.
His designs are quite pleasing and the quality of his workmanship and metal is excellent.
This pair of candlesticks measure 6 5/16" tall to the top of the bobeches. They are marked on the underside of the base.
They are in very good condition. The bases show a slight amount of surface age.
