A Scarce "Truncated" Flower Handle Taster Porringer - SOLD

This 2 3/8" diameter taster porringer is a very uncommon variety and has a "truncated" flower handle.

The bowl is of the bossed basin type. The handle is "burned" on and there is a very clear linen mark.

The handle has 4 apertures. These match the design found on many standard flower handle porringers. They are the two above and two below the center shield of the handle.

This design has no hanging hole. A very fine example of a scarce type of taster porringer.
