A Fine Condition Export Pewter Plate by Robert Bush & Co

Robert Bush & Co (Bristol England) had a very active export business to the Colonies, and later the United States. The beginning dates are not know, however the quantity of goods and forms and designs we find would indicate that it was certainly around 1775 or before. Records indicate the Company was dissolved in 1793.

This 8 3/8" plate is in fine condition with fine as struck touchmarks. The hammering on the booge is very clear.
