An Unmarked 9" Semi-Deep American Plate - SOLD

This unmarked American Pewter Plate is very similar to those made by the Boardmans, save for the slightly smaller diameter. 9 1/8" v 9 3/8".

The quality of the metal is excellent, however the turnings are indicative of a lathe that is of an older less than "true" example.

The chatter in the turnings and the pronounced lathe marks add to the interesting character of this piece.
