A Truncated Lighthouse Pewter Teapot by Smith & Co. - SOLD

This teapot was made by Smith & Co of Boston, 1847-49. The firm produced a variety of tea and coffee pots along with other items. The quality of their metal was excellent as was their workmanship.

This teapot still retains it's original japanned paint on the handle and finial.

The metal inside and out as well as the maker's mark are in very fine condition. The teapot measures 7 1/4" to the top of the finial.
