A 19th Century Glue Pot - SOLD

A 19th Century Glue Pot

This glue container is made of glass with a pewter top. The top has a hole in the center for the stick that was used to dab glue on the desired surface.

The original paper label is mostly intact. This measures 5 1/4" tall to the top of the stick.

The label appears to read Dovell & __on_; expressly prepared; MUCILAGE; for Office & Bank use; NEW YORK
