A Pair of Thomas Wildes Tall Pewter Candlesticks - SOLD

Thomas Wildes produced both Candlesticks and Lamps working in Philadelphia 1829-1833 and New York City from 1833-1840, where he likely produced this handsome tall pair of candlesticks.

The pair retains it's original pair of bobeches. Both are clearly marked "T. Wildes" on the underside of the bases. In near fine condition measuring 10 1/8" tall, they are an impressive pair.

Jacobs listed them as being "scarce". I have had few examples of their product in the last 40 years
