An Antique British Pewter Sheffield Engraved Cream Pot
This Pewter Sheffield Cream Pot dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. The engraving on this piece exemplifies the quality and skill exhibited by the craftsmen who made this piece.
Of interesting note is the "owner's initials" on the face of this piece. They were engraved by a different hand the rest of the engraving. This indicates the cream pot was offered sans initials and that the new owner had the option of having their initials added by the seller.
In fine condition measuring 5 3/4" to the top of the handle. (W&P)
