Scarce 1 1/2" New England Pewter Beaker - SOLD

Scarce 1 ½” tall New England beaker. These are rather frail due to their small size and are frequently found in very poor condition. This example is in fine condition.

An old-time antiques dealer, Reginald French, told me he knew of a church in central Massachusetts that had a sizeable number of these beakers. They were used as individual wine cups for Communion.
