A One Quart "A" Marked Measure - SOLD

Baluster lidless measures are found in this country produced by American Makers. This quart example is likely New York and has an "A" stamped to the left of the handle and is a mark associated with New York.

This measure is 6 15/16" tall to the lip. It has triple incised lines above and below the widest part of the belly.

The handle is soldered on. In some cases measures have handles that are "burnt" on.
