Two Pewter Flower Handle Pewter Porringers With Same Owner's Initials - SOLD

These two flower handle porringers are of types generally associated with the Boston area. Both are in near mint condition retaining all of lathe marks and strong linen marks.

The interesting fact is here are two different style handle porringers that were found together with the same owner's initials. Perhaps the individuals who bought these noticed two different designs of handles in the pewterer's shop and decided to get one of each.

The porringer with the "bow ties" on the lower handle measures 5 1/16" in diameter the other is 5 5/16" in diameter.
