A Very Rare Thomas Danforth III Flower Handle Pewter Porringer - SOLD
This Connecticut Flower Handle Porringer was made by Thomas Danforth III while working in Connecticut circa 1783-1820 using the molds of his father, Thomas Danforth II (1755-82) to produce this handsome porringer.
The porringer is extremely well marked with one of Thomas III's eagle marks. The handle on this porringer is not planished in the manner that Thomas Danforth II did his.
Measuring 5" in diameter in very good plus to near fine condition with a superb touch.
