A Scarce Porringer by William Billings

This scarce porringer was made by William Billing who worked in Providence, RI from 1791-1806.

The anchor motif is found in the touch marks of several other Rhode Island pewterers. It is also found in the State Seal.

This porringer is in very good condition with a fine touchmark 5 1/2" in diameter.
