A taster porringer by either Richard Lee Sr. or Jr. Springfield, VT 1795-1820. The Sr. Lee worked in other locations however, if this was made by him it would have been after he moved to Vermont.
This porringer bears the R. LEE in serrated rectangle touch. The linen mark is very clear. The Lees had a number of small handle designs that they used on this small bowl.
This porringer bowl measures 2 5/16””. It is in very good plus condition with a fine touch
