Elongated Pear Form Coffeepot by Bailey & Putnam - SOLD

Timothy Bailey and James H. Putnam formed a partnership which operated in Malden, Massachusetts from 1830-1835. This tall pot is of a design employed by a considerable number of 19th century Coffeepot Makers including Ashbil Griswold, Josiah Danforth, Allen Porter, Freeman Porter and others.

This coffeepot measures 11 1/8” tall to the top of the finial. The pot is in fine condition both inside and out. The touch is strongly impressed on the outside bottom. A very attractive early 19th century coffeepot.
