A Small Size Unmarked American Pewter Butter Plate - SOLD

This 5 1/2" pewter butter plate is different than any other examples we have ever had. The rim has an unusual attractive turned molding that is quite bold.

The plate is in very good plus condition with a slight amount of etching in the curve of the booge.

We date this from the first quarter of the 19th century.
