This decorated spatula was made by an unknown Iron worker likely from Lancaster Co. PA. This would date from the early to mid 19th century.
This maker stamped his wares with a distinctive pattern seen on this piece. He apparently made sets consisting of a fork, skimmer, dipper, spatula, and taster ladle. The latter two items are the hardest to find.
Measuring 17 5/8" long in fine condition.
