A Half-Cylinder Splint Basket

This basket is of a very unusual shape. It would be like cutting a can in half from top to bottom and adding a handle. In other word a half-cylinder.

This basket dates from the second half of the 19h century and is in fine condition.. An attractive form in excellent shape with very nice color. This measures 7 1/2" long, 7" wide, and 6 1/2" high.
