A Pewter Double Belly Baptismal Bowl - SOLD

This stately baptismal bowl features a double belly design which ads "lift" to the appearance of it.

The bowl measures 6 3/8" in diameter with a height of 3 3/4".

The bowl is in fine condition save for some light pitting to the inside of the bowl.

The entire piece is of cast metal. Many bowls dating from the period of this piece (1820's-50) were made with cast bases and spun metal bowls.
