A Communion Flagon by William Calder - SOLD
This stylish flagon comes from the shop of William Calder, Providence, RI 1817-1856.
Calder produced a wide variety of forms. These include tea and coffeepots, mugs, porringer, plates and dishes, basins, beakers, chalices, baptismal bowls,and varieties of lamps and candlesticks.
This flagon is in very good to fine condition with a fine "as-struck" touchmark. It is 11" tall to the top of the "mushroom" finial.
