A Pair of Banded Beakers by Boardman & Hart

This pair of 3 ¾” tall beakers were made by the partnership of Thomas D. Boardman and Lucius Hart, New York, NY and Hartford, CT. 1828-53. Although marked N-YORK it is firmly believed all of the Boardman pewter was manufactured in Hartford. During Boardman’s career he had offices both in New York City and Philadelphia.

These beakers are of a very handsome design with a beautifully turned fillet band on the body. They are in nearly fine condition with only a few small pits on the outside bottom near the touches.

A fine addition to any collection of Boardman Pewter.
