A Continental Pewter Open Salt - SOLD

This European Salt is likely 19th century. The cup has some pitting that is typical of open salts. Salt is highly corrosive to pewter.

There are owner's initials on the base. The salt is approximately 2" tall with a cup diameter of 2 1/2".
