A Rare Pewter Gadrooned Pewter Cup

These small size gadrooned cups are done in the style of the Church Cups by Robert Bonynge of Boston. They are found on both sides of the "pond".

I have observed at least three variations all from different molds. Some are undoubtedly English while others may be American. Either way they are a most wonderful form and are rarely encountered by collectors. This example measures 2 7/16" to the lip. (W&P)
