An English Domestic pint bud baluster measure. This example came out of an English collection and is not an export item. This is in as found condition exhibiting “colour” from aging.
The measure is 6 1/4 “ tall to the top of the thumbpiece with a base diameter of 2 ¼”. I don’t recall another example as heavy as this particular one, this piece weighs 2.3 pounds!! If this measure got thrown in a bar fight serious injuries would likely ensue!
