An English Export Plate by Fasson & Son - SOLD

This export plate was made by Fasson & Son, London, circa 1782-98. This firm were successors of Samuel Ellis' and were given "leave" to use his hallmarks.

The Fassons produced flatware and hollowware. They exported considerable quantities of pewter to New England.

In very good condition both metal and touches. 7 15/16" in diameter.
